Signs You Need a New Bra

It’s all fine and good when you’ve found a favorite, well-fitting bra. But sometimes, you need to let go especially if the bra isn’t giving you the support you need.

Stock up on new bras if...

  • Bra straps keep slipping even after adjusting
This means that the straps have lost their elasticity. Another cause would be a too big cup size that forces the straps to take the blunt of the support.
  • Breasts spill over the cups
In this case, the cups are too small to hold your breasts. They cut into your breast tissue creating an unflattering silhouette.
  • Underwires poke and dig
The underwires should give your breasts a natural lift for support. If they have popped out of their slings, or poke and dig into breasts tissue, ditch them.
  • Band rides up your back.
Contrary to popular opinion, bra bands that ride up your back don’t mean that you’re wearing a size that’s small for you. Your band size is too large. Opt for a bra with a smaller band size, and a bigger cup size to ensure the right fit.
